I picked World Crocodile Day as a theme; animals, especially less understood ones are another passion of mine. As they are usually (and, sometimes, rightfully) seen as dangerous and scary - I wanted to combine this aspect with a more playful twist, contrary to their cold-blooded nature. So, even though one is depicted chomping down on a bird, their design is made to look quite goofy and cartoonish.
